OVERVIEW:

The First Wars were initiated fifteen thousand years before the events of House of Earth and Blood when Prince Pelias opened the Northern Rift into Midgard. The major players consisted of the humans and the Princes of Hel, who fought against the Asteri and the Vanir. According to Ruhn Danaan, the First Wars ended when Apollion, a Prince of Hel, ate an Asteri and Prince Pelias, of the Fae, used the Horn to seal the Northern Rift and banish the Princes of Hel back to their realm. The wars resulted in the established dominance of the Vanir on Midgard.
