Maximus Tertian is a vampyr who meets Bryce at the beginning of Book 1 for a business dealing with Jesiba Roga.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

  • He is later found murdered in a manner similar to the way the Pack of Devils was murdered, which serves as one of the inciting incidents for the book.
