Asteri

OVERVIEW:

The Asteri are the six godlike immortal beings who rule Midgard. They reside in the Eternal City on Pangera and are each said to possess the power of a star. Their power is described as being "born, not made" (Ch 77).

While there were originally seven Asteri, a Prince of Hel named Apollion ate Sirius during one of the final battles of the First Wars. Apollion is the only known being to have ever killed an Asteri, and he is called the "Star Eater" on Midgard.
