Avallen

OVERVIEW:

Avallen is a "mist-shrouded isle in the north" ruled by the Stag King (Ch 14). Avallen is occupied by Fae who largely refrain from participating in Midgard's politics, and they are said to have the "power to summon shadows or mist that could not only veil the physical world, but the mind as well" (Ch 6).

Notable locations on Avallen include the Prince of Caves, where Ruhn Danaan undergoes his Ordeal, and a section of the Fae Archives.
