Keres

OVERVIEW:

Keres is an offshoot of the human-led rebel group Ophion. Philip Briggs is the leader of the Keres sect, and in the beginning of book one he is serving in prison for a foiled plot to bomb a popular club. Danika Fendyr and the Pack of Devils foiled the plot, and Danika reveals to Bryce in chapter one that Philip is set to be released from prison on a "technicality." On the same day the book starts, Philip Briggs is let out of prison and a shocking murder takes place. Philip Briggs is the immediate suspect, and he is jailed.

  Philip Briggs and Danika Fendyr knew each other, and Philip did not murder Danika and the Pack of Devils, which is revealed when Bryce and Hunt visit him in prison.
