Ruhn Danaan
OVERVIEW:
Ruhn Danaan is the Starborn Prince, heir to the Valbaran Fae throne, and leader of the Fae division of the Auxiliary. He is the son of the Autumn King, making him Bryce Quinlan's half-brother, although they tell everyone they are distant cousins to keep Bryce's parentage is a secret. Ruhn is tall and muscular with raven-black hair that is buzzed on one side of his head. He has blue eyes and a lip ring and is heavily tattooed.
Unlike most Fae in Valbara, Ruhn can wield shadows due to his mother’s Avallen heritage. Despite being the Starborn Prince and securing the Starsword during his Ordeal, Ruhn can only muster a trivial amount of light. For this reason, his father is extremely critical of him.
At the beginning of the series, Ruhn and Bryce have a distant relationship despite Ruhn’s efforts to mend the tension between them. He is fiercely loyal to his friends Declan Emmet and Tristan Flynn.

As the story unfolds, we learn that the tension between Bryce and Ruhn emerged from a fight they had when Bryce was sixteen where Ruhn called her a “half-breed slut.” He deeply regrets how he treated Bryce and works to gain her trust throughout the novel.
During Ruhn’s visit to the Oracle, she revealed to him that he would be the last of his line. Ruhn believes this means he will either die before becoming a father or he will be unable to have children.
