Momento Mori

Memento Mori is a phrase meaning, "Remember that you will die" in a language long-forgotten by the people of Midgard. It is painted on the wall of the Meat Market, appears at the entrance of the Bone Quarter, and is engraved on a bullet intended to be used with Godslayer rifle.

It is an important theme throughout the series.
